My name is Ivanildo Soares and I am an animator and director based in São Paulo, Brazil.

I’ve been working in animation since 2012, having passed by some of the largest Brazilian animation studios.

I like making short films, and some of them were selected to animation festivals such as Anima Mundi and MONSTRA.
My short film Hands won a Distinction in Athens Anim Fest 2017.

I had a role as an animation director in a couple of brazilian tv series, and as animator, rigger, storyboard artist and designer in other several projects through these years.

I’m currently working as animation director at Copa Studio, where I recently directed the animation of Netflix’s original series Wake Up, Carlo!

Also I’m directing the futuristic short film Nemito.
